Our Surprise!

Last weekend we were surprised by our very dear friends from Arizona. The kids and I had no idea that they were coming but Mike did. As the week started Mike had told us that he wanted to do something special with the family on the weekend, but he wouldn't tell us what. Talk about make everyone crazy for the whole week. I think we all tried to get it out of him a time or two but he wouldn't bust. So on Friday, as I was about to go get the kids from school, this very large van pulled into my driveway. I had no idea who it could possibly be until Jenny got out. I was sooo excited my heart was raceing and my legs were shaking. We haven't seen them since we moved back to Lovell 1 year ago. Their kids were so excited that it was kept a secret for so long. So we all got in their van and picked the kids up from school. To see the faces on my kids was so great, I think they thought they were seeing things for a minute, but quickly realized that they were seeing exactly what they thought.

So our weekend was very adventurous. We started off by touring the town which takes only about 20 min. On Saturday morning we headed off to Yellowstone in a 15 passenger van that they had rented from Billings. How cool is that. We all fit into one vehicle. We got to see a lot of the stop spots almost every one. Of course, we couldn't do it in one day so we rented motel rooms in Gardner, MT and finished the rest on Sunday. We had some great times and I hope they will come back again very soon. As monday approached and it was time for the Lofgrans to leave, the kids were trying to think of everything they could to keep them from making the flight. It almost worked. As everyone is loading into the van and I into my car to take the kids to school, Mike noticed Sierra in the family room watching T.V. He quickly told her that her family was leaving and she ran out the door. Chris was already out of the driveway and about to take off when she appeared. No one had any idea that she wasn't in the van with them. We laughed about that for a while and my kids were in hopes that they missed their plane and would be here when they got home. Not this time.

Way to go April! You got a blog! When you commented I only had the name and told Dave, there is a comment here and I don't even know who dapricepack is.
Good job on the blog--now keep it up!! It's a lot of fun--better than scrap booking, everyone can see it and you only have to do it once!!
